Principal Production on "Juventud" began on December 4th, 2016, in Honolulu, Hawai'i. But the journey began long before that.
It was in a production office that I was struck with the idea that became the story of "Juventud". Nicholas Masciangelo, who was also working on the production, asked me to take a photo of him wearing a prop helmet. Framing up the photo, I distinctly remember thinking, "I have to make something with this guy."

After completing Secondhand Hearts, we immediately set off preparing to shoot "Juventud" in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Teaming up with long time collaborators at Sight and Sound Hawaii as well as Producers Moumen El Hajji and Connie Alicino, less than three months later, post production wrapped and the film was complete.
